Thanksgiving 2024 has come and gone1. We had a good Thanksgiving, and all of our family was together for the first time in a little while. So, of course, we had to take some photos.

Birthdays are always worth celebrating, especially for someone as special as Laura is to me. Here’s hoping this is the start of another wonderful trip around the sun!
Thanksgiving 2023 has come and gone, but it will live on in photos! We had our traditional Thanksgiving meal with my parents, complete with turkey, dressing, vinegar green beans, strawberry pretzel salad, cranberry sauce, and much more! And after dinner and a bit of a rest, we decided to take a family photo, as we often do. But if you know us, you know that just one photo will not do. Traditional and non-traditional, you might say. These two kids got married 30 years ago today! Happy anniversary to my beautiful wife Laura.
Thirty years into the future seems like a long way off when you are just starting out. But it does not seem like that long ago when you look at it from this direction. We have had lots of fun adventures, and of course a few difficult times to work through together, too. But the good times have far, far outweighed the bad times. And for that, I am thankful.
This lovely girl has another birthday! That’s right, it is Laura’s birthday once again! Happy birthday to my beautiful wife! I won’t say what her age is, but the numbers are sometimes preceded by the name of a tropical island state. But age is not important. It is just a number. What is more important is getting to spend another year with someone special.
Here’s hoping this birthday is the start of another great year!
Spring break has once again come and gone. It had its ups and its downs. But let’s not focus on the downs, shall we? Let’s just remember the good times!
Jaylin got to come home for most of the week. Last year, his spring break did not line up with Laura’s spring break, so it was nice to have everything in the same week this year. And the Riedel kids all had the same break, too, so we got to spend time with Katie, Zach, and Leah as well. Here is a memory, with the top photo by Karen and the bottom photo by me:
